We made a club entry into the Eastern Region Series 2004 - with both "sprint" and "main" series of events (read more on the EBTA website).
We are winners of both the Eastern Region MAIN and SPRINT series 2004!
People had to include at least two events from a list of standard length triathlons and duathlons, as well as scoring from up to four events from the sprint series. Only six people managed to complete the main series: three from Ipswich and three from East Essex.

As well as a small cup each, Dave, Charlie & Kate will be rotating a rather impressive (unfortunately returnable!) plate!
Sprint series 2004
We are still (Feb 2005) checking back
with EBTA on the individual category lists as we do not appear to have quite the
same number of place medals as the results (club positions shown below) suggest
we should receive.
However, Dave Copland, Charlie Stannett & Kate Stannett have definitely
secured enough (with 200, 192 & 198 points each respectively) to bring home
the winning team shield for Ipswich triathlon club (again unfortunately
returnable).
