Culford Triathlon is held at Culford School near Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk.

The swim is 300m in a heated indoor pool.

The bike section is 3 laps of a 7km circuit on flat rural roads.

The run is 2 laps of a 2km circuit within the school grounds on grass and paths.

We are holding 2 events this year – A Spring event on Sunday 31st May and a Summer event on Sunday 9th August.

Entries to these events cost £42.00 or £36.00 if you are a member of British Triathlon and show a race licence on the day of the event.

Entries are via the ‘Entry Central’ website  Spring – CANCELLED

Summer: https://www.entrycentral.com/event/111792

We call the event ‘The Friendly Triathlon’ and many competitors have enjoyed the race over the last 25 years. ‘Culford’ is a race suitable for novices who are unsure about entering a triathlon and worried about what to do to. Do not worry we all remember the apprehension before our first event and we are here to help.

The race also offers a challenge to more experienced athletes who are trying to complete the event in under an hour or compete for ‘age group’ medals.
