{"id":740,"date":"2026-04-21T18:05:55","date_gmt":"2026-04-21T17:05:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ipswich-tri.org\/?p=740"},"modified":"2026-04-21T19:41:11","modified_gmt":"2026-04-21T18:41:11","slug":"dave-alley-coach","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ipswich-tri.org\/?p=740","title":{"rendered":"Dave Alley &#8211; Coach"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I\u2019m Dave Alley, and I\u2019m a running coach at Ipswich Triathlon Club.&nbsp; I joined the Triathlon club a couple of years ago to mix up my training, and am now loving the swimming and cycling!&nbsp; I always enjoyed longer duration runs, and gravitated towards marathons and ultra marathons as my running progressed. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve been an England Athletics Coach in Running Fitness for around eight years, and I arrange structured training sessions for our club members. &nbsp; These help to build endurance and speed, increasing strength and physical fitness so our Triathletes can run further and faster.&nbsp; I also put together bespoke plans for any of our members training for an event which involves running, from a 5k to an ultra marathon.&nbsp; I\u2019m always happy to help, whether you\u2019re a complete beginner or an experienced veteran, easy paced or fast.&nbsp; All provided as part of your club membership.
