On 25th April, five Ipswich Triathlon Club members joined more than 8,500 cyclists on the start line for the Mallorca 312, one of Europe’s most iconic sportive events.

With a choice of distances available, some of our riders took on the full 312km route, while others opted for one of the shorter options. Whichever distance they chose, participants were treated to the spectacular roads and mountains of northern Mallorca, with challenging climbs, fast descents and stunning scenery throughout the day.

The full 312km route includes over 5,000 metres of climbing, making it a real test of endurance, while the shorter routes still provide plenty of climbing and a rewarding challenge in their own right. Fortunately, the weather was on everyone’s side, with sunshine, warm temperatures and light winds creating almost perfect riding conditions.

Congratulations to all five club members on completing their rides and representing Ipswich Triathlon Club at one of Europe’s premier cycling sportives.
